لا إلهَ إلاّ اللهُ،
There is no god save Allah.
وَاللهُ أكبَرُ،
Allah is the Most Great.
وَسُبحانَ اللهِ وَالحَمدُ للهِ،
الَّذي لَم يَتَّخِذ وَلَداً وَلَم يَكُن لَهُ شِريكٌ في المُلكِ وَلَم يَكُن لَهُ وَليُّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرهُ تَكبيراً.
يا سابِغَ النِّعَمِ،
O Conferrer of boon amply!
يا دافِعَ النِّقَمِ،
O Repeller of troubles!
يا بارئَ النَّسَمِ،
O Maker of souls!
يا عَليَّ الهِمَمِ يا مُغشيَ الظُّلَمِ،
O Sublime in determinations! O Coverer [of daylight] with darkness!
يا ذا الجودِ وَالكَرَمِ،
O Lord of magnanimity and nobility!
يا كاشِفَ الضُّرِّ وَالألَمِ،
O Remover of harm and pains!
يا مُؤنِسَ المُستَوحِشينَ في الظُّلَمِ،
O Entertainer of those lonely in darkness!
يا عالِمـاً لا يُعَلَّمُ،
O All-knowing Who never needs teaching!
صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَافعَل بي ما أنتَ أهلُهُ،
(Please) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and do to me all that which befits You.
يا مَنِ اسمُهُ دَواءٌ،
O He Whose Name is remedy,
وَذِكرُهُ شِفاءٌ،
the remembrance of Whom is cure,
وَطاعَتُهُ غَناءٌ،
and the obedience to Whom is sufficiency,
ارحَم مَن رَأسُ مالِهِ الرَّجاءُ،
(please) have mercy upon him whose wealth is only hope [for You]
وَسِلاحُهُ البُكاءُ.
and whose weapon is only weeping.
سُبحانَكَ لا إلهَ إلاّ أنتَ يا حَنَّانُ يا مَنَّانُ يا بَديعَ السَّماواتِ وَالأرضِ،
Glory be to You. There is no god save You. O All-tender, O All-Bestower, O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth,
يا ذا الجَلالِ وَالإكرامِ.
O, The Possessor of Majesty and Grace;
وقُل هُوَ الله أحدٌ
وقُل يا أيُّها الكافِرونَ
لَقَد جاءكُم رَسولٌ مِن أنفُسِكُم،
إنَّكَ لاتُخلِفُ الميعادَ
Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise (194).
اللهُمَّ اجعَل صَلاتَكَ وَصَلاةَ مَلائِكَتِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, (please do) let Your blessings and the blessings of Your angels and Messengers be on Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّل فَرَجَهُم ،
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Relief.
اللهُمَّ اجعَلني مِن أهلِ الجَنَّةِ الَّتي حَشوُها البَرَكَةُ وَعُمَّارُها المَلائِكَةُ،
O Allah, include me with the inhabitants of Paradise whose stuffing is blessing and whose constructors are the angels
مَعَ نبينّا مُحَمَّدٍ (صلى الله عليه وآله) وَأبينا إبراهيمَ (عليه السلام) ،
with our Prophet Muhammad, peace of Allah be upon him and his Household, and our* father Abraham, peace be upon him.
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّل فَرَجَهُم.
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Relief.
صَلَواتُ الله وَمَلائِكَتِهِ وَأنبيائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَجَميعِ خَلقِهِ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،
The blessings of Allah, His angels, His prophets, His messengers, and all of His creatures be upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيهِ وَعَلَيهِم وَعَلى أرواحِهِم وَأجسادِهِم وَرَحمَةُ الله وَبَرَكاتُهُ.
And peace be upon him and upon them and upon their souls and bodies. So be Allah’s mercy and blessings.
اللهمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الأوصياءِ المَرضيّينَ بِأفضَلِ صَلَواتِكَ،
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad— the Successors and the pleased— with the best of Your blessings,
وَبارِك عَلَيهِم بِأفضَلِ بَرَكاتِكَ،
and confer upon them with the best of your favors.
وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيهِم وَعَلى أرواحِهِم وَأجسادِهِم،
And peace be upon them and upon their souls and bodies;
وَرَحمَةُ الله وَبَرَكاتُهُ،
and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon them.
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الأوصياءِ المَرضيّينَ بِأفضَلِ صَلَواتِكَ،
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad— the Successors and the pleased— with the best of Your blessings,
وَبارِك عَلَيهِم بِأفضَلِ بَرَكاتِكَ،
and confer upon them with the best of your favors.
وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيهِ وَعَلَيهِم وَرَحمَةُ الله وَبَرَكاتُهُ،
And peace be upon him and them and Allah’s mercy and blessings be also upon them.
إنّا أنزلناهُ مائة مرّة،
إنّا أنزَلناهُ
سُبحانَكَ لا إلهَ إلاّ أنتَ يا حَنّانُ يا مَنّانُ يا بَديعَ السَّماواتِ وَالأرضِ يا ذَا الجَلالِ وَالإكرامِ.
Glory be to You. There is no god save You. O All-tender, O All-Bestower, O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth, O Lord of majesty and honor.
هذا يَومُ الجُمُعَةِ وَهُوَ يَومُكَ المُتَوَقَّعُ فيهِ ظُهورُكَ،
وَالفَرَجُ فيهِ لِلمُؤمِنينَ عَلى يَدَيكَ.
to bring about relief to the believers at your hands,
اللهُمَّ ادفَع عَن وَلِيِّكَ وَخَلِيفَتِكَ وَحُجَّتِكَ عَلى خَلقِكَ وَلِسانِكَ المُعَبِّرِ عَنكَ وَالنَّاطِقِ بِحِكمَتِكَ وَعَينِكَ النَّاظِرَةِ بِإذنِكَ وَشاهِدِكَ عَلى عِبادِكَ الجَحجاحِ المُجاهِدِ العائِذِ بِكَ العابِدِ عِندَكَ،
وَأعِذهُ مِن شَرِّ جَمِيعِ ما خَلَقتَ وَبَرَأتَ وَأنشَأتَ وَصَوَّرتَ،
وَاحفَظهُ مِن بَينِ يَدَيهِ وَمِن خَلفِهِ وَعَن يَمِينِهِ وَعَن شِمالِهِ وَمِن فَوقِهِ وَمِن تَحتِهِ بِحِفظِكَ الَّذي لا يَضِيعُ مَن حَفِظتَهُ بِهِ وَاحفَظ فِيهِ رَسُولَكَ وَآباءَهُ أئِمَّتَكَ وَدَعائِمَ دِينِكَ،
وَاجعَلهُ في وَدِيعَتِكَ الَّتي لا تَضِيعُ وَفي جِوارِكَ الَّذي لا يُخفَرُ وَفي مَنعِكَ وَعِزِّكَ الَّذي لا يُقهَرُ وَآمِنهُ بِأمانِكَ الوَثِيقِ الَّذي لا يُخذَلُ مَن آمَنتَهُ بِهِ،
وَاجعَلهُ في كَنَفِكَ الَّذي لا يُرامُ مَن كانَ فِيهِ وَانصُرهُ بِنَصرِكَ العَزِيزِ وَأيِّدهُ بِجُندِكَ الغالِبِ وَقَوِّهِ بِقُوَّتِكَ وَأردِفهُ بِمَلائِكَتِكَ وَوالِ مَن والاهُ وَعادِ مَن عاداهُ وَألبِسهُ دِرعَكَ الحَصِينَةَ وَحُفَّهُ بِالمَلائِكَةِ حَفّاً.
اللهُمَّ اشعَب بِهِ الصَّدعَ وَارتُق بِهِ الفَتقَ وَأمِت بِهِ الجَورَ وَأظهِر بِهِ العَدلَ وَزَيِّن بِطُولِ بَقائِهِ الأرضَ،
وَأيِّدهُ بِالنَّصرِ وَانصُرهُ بِالرُّعبُ وَقَوِّ ناصِرِيهِ وَاخذُل خاذِلِيهِ وَدَمدِم مَن نَصَبَ لَهُ وَدَمِّر مَن غَشَّهُ،
وَاقتُل بِهِ جَبابِرَةَ الكُفرِ وَعُمُدَهُ وَدَعائِمَهُ وَاقصِم بِهِ رُؤُوسَ الضَّلالَةِ وَشارِعَةَ البِدَعِ وَمُمِيتَةَ السُّنَّةِ وَمُقَوِّيَةَ الباطِلِ،
وَذَلِّل بِهِ الجَبّارِينَ وَأبِر بِهِ الكافِرِينَ وَجَمِيعَ المُلحِدِينَ في مَشارِقِ الأرضِ وَمَغارِبِها وَبَرِّها وَبَحرِها وَسَهلِها وَجَبَلِها حَتّى لا تَدَعَ مِنهُم دَياراً وَلا تُبقي لَهُم آثاراً،
اللهُمَّ طَهِّر مِنهُم بِلادَكَ وَاشفِ مِنهُم عِبادَكَ،
وَأعِزَّ بِهِ المُؤمِنِينَ وَأحيِ بِهِ سُنَنَ المُرسَلِينَ وَدارِسَ حُكمِ النَّبِيِّينَ،
وَجَدِّد بِهِ ما امتَحى مِن دِينِكَ وَبُدِّلَ مِن حُكمِكَ،
حَتّى تُعِيدَ دِينَكَ بِهِ وَعَلى يَدَيهِ جَدِيداً غَضّاً مَحضاً صَحِيحاً لاعِوَجَ فِيهِ وَلا بِدعَةَ مَعَهُ،
وَحَتّى تُنِيرَ بِعَدلِهِ ظُلَمَ الجَورِ وَتُطفِئَ بِهِ نِيرانَ الكُفرِ وَتُوَضِّحَ بِهِ مَعاقِدَ الحَقِّ وَمَجهُولَ العَدلِ،
فَإنَّهُ عَبدُكَ الَّذي استَخلَصتَهُ لِنَفسِكَ وَاصطَفَيتَهُ عَلى غَيبِكَ وَعَصَمتَهُ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ وَبَرَّأتَهُ مِنَ العُيُوبِ وَطَهَّرتَهُ مِنَ الرِّجسِ وَسَلَّمتَهُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ،
اللهُمَّ فَإنّا نَشهَدُ لَهُ يَومَ القيامة وَيَومَ حُلُولِ الطَّامَّةِ أنَّهُ لَم يُذنِب ذَنباً وَلا أتى حَوباً وَلَم يَرتَكِب مَعصِيَةً وَلَم يُضَيِّع لَكَ طاعَةً وَلَم يَهتِكَ لَكَ حُرمَةً وَلَم يُبَدِّل لَكَ فَرِيضَةً وَلَم يُغَيِّر لَكَ شَرِيعَةً،
وَأنَّهُ الهادي المُهتَدي الطَّاهِرُ التَّقِيُّ النَّقِيُّ الرَّضِيُّ الزَّكِيُّ،
اللهُمَّ أعطِهِ في نَفسِهِ وَأهلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَذرِّيَّتِهِ وَاُمَّتِهِ وَجَمِيعِ رَعِيَّتِهِ ما تُقِرُّ بِهِ عَينَهُ وَتَسُرُّ بِهِ نَفسَهُ وَتَجمَعُ لَهُ مُلكَ المَملَكاتِ كُلِّها قَرِيبِها وَبَعِيدِها وَعَزِيزِها وَذَلِيلِها حَتّى تُجرِيَ حُكمَهُ عَلى كُلِّ حُكمٍ وَيَغلِبَ بِحَقِّهِ كُلَّ باطِلٍ،
اللهُمَّ اسلُك بِنا عَلى يَدَيهِ مِنهاجَ الهُدى وَالمَحَجَّةَ العُظمى وَالطَّرِيقَةَ الوُسطى الَّتي يَرجِعُ إلَيها الغالي وَيَلحَقُ بِها التَّالِي،
وَقَوِّنا عَلى طاعَتِهِ وَثَبِّتنا عَلى مُشايَعَتِهِ وَامنُن عَلَينا بِمُتابَعَتِهِ وَاجعَلنا في حِزبِهِ القَوَّامِينَ بِأمرِهِ الصَّابِرِينَ مَعَهُ الطَّالِبِينَ رِضاكَ بِمُناصَحَتِهِ حَتّى تَحشُرَنا يَومَ القيامة في أنصارِهِ وَأعوانِهِ وَمُقَوِّيَةِ سُلطانِهِ،
اللهُمَّ وَاجعَل ذلِكَ لَنا خالِصاً مِن كُلِّ شَكٍّ وَشُبهَةٍ وَرياءٍ وَسُمعَةٍ حَتّى لا نَعتَمِدَ بِهِ غَيرَكَ وَلا نَطلُبَ بِهِ إلاّ وَجهَكَ وَحَتّى تُحِلَّنا مَحَلَّهُ وَتَجعَلَنا في الجَنَّةِ مَعَهُ،
وَأعِذنا مِن السَّامّةِ وَالكَسَلِ وَالفَترَةِ وَاجعَلنا مِمَّن تَنتَصِرُ بِهِ لِدِينِكَ وَتُعِزُّ بِهِ نَصرَ وَلِيِّكَ وَلا تَستَبدِل بِنا غَيرَنا فَإنَّ استِبدالَكَ بِنا غَيرَنا عَلَيكَ يَسِيرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَينا كَثِيرٌ.
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى وَلاةِ عَهدِهِ وَالأئِمَّةِ مِن بَعدِهِ وَبَلِّغهُم آمالَهُم وَزِد في آجالِهِم وَأعِزَّ نَصرَهُم وَتَمِّم لَهُم ما أسنَدتَ إلَيهِم مِن أمرِكَ لَهُم وَثَبِّت دَعائِمَهم،
وَاجعَلنا لَهُم أعواناً وَعَلى دِينِكَ أنصاراً فَإنَّهُم مَعادِنُ كَلِماتِكَ وَخُزَّانُ عِلمِكَ وَأركانُ تَوحِيدِكَ وَدَعائِمُ دِينِكَ وَوُلاةُ أمرِكَ وَخالِصَتُكَ مِن عِبادِكَ وَصَفوَتُكَ مِن خَلقِكَ وَأولياؤُكَ وَسَلائِلُ أوليائِكَ وَصَفوَةُ أولادِ نَبِيِّكَ وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيهِ وَعَلَيهِم وَرَحمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ.
بِسمِ الله الرَّحمنِ الرَّحيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ سَيِّدِ المُرسَلينَ،
O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad, the master of the messengers (of Allah),
وَخاتَمِ النَّبيّينَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
the seal of the Prophets, and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
المُنتَجَبِ في الميثاقِ المُصطَفى في الظِّلالِ المُطَهَّرِ مِن كُلِّ آفَةٍ،
who had been elected [for Prophethood] since the Covenant and chosen since the World of Shadows, and who is purified from all defects
البَريء مِن كُلِّ عَيبٍ،
and freed from all deficiencies,
المُؤَمَّلِ لِلنَّجاةِ،
and who is hoped for salvation
المُرتَجى لِلشَّفاعَةِ المُفَوَّضِ إلَيهِ دينُ اللهِ.
and expected for intercession, and to whom the religion of Allah is delegated.
اللهُمَّ شَرِّف بُنيا نَهُ،
O Allah, (please) confer honor upon his structure,
وَعَظِّم بُرهانَهُ،
ennoble his authority,
وَأفلِج حُجَّتَهُ،
make successful his cogency,
وَارفَع دَرَجَتَهُ،
lift up his rank,
وَأضئ نورَهُ،
light up his illumination,
وَبَيِّض وَجهَهُ،
make his face glow with whiteness,
وَأعطِهِ الفَضلَ وَالفَضيلَةَ،
grant him merit, virtue,
وَالمَنزِلَةَ وَالوَسيلَةَ،
[supreme] position, [right of] mediation,
وَالدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفيعَةَ،
and sublime rank,
وَابعَثهُ مَقاماً مَحموداً يَغبِطُهُ بِهِ الأوّلونَ وَالآخِرونَ،
and send him a praiseworthy status which the past and last generations will wish to have.
وَصَلِّ عَلى أميرِ المُؤمِنينَ وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ وَقائِدِ الغُرِّ المُحَجَّلينَ،
And send blessings to `Ali, the Commander of the Believers, the inheritor of the Messengers, the leader of the white-forehead groups,
وَسَيِّدِ الوَصيّينَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
the chief of the Prophets’ Successors, and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
وَصَلِّ عَلى الحَسَنِ بنِ عَليٍّ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to al-Hasan, the son of `Ali, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى الحُسَينِ بنِ عَليٍّ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to al-Husayn, the son of `Ali, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى عَليّ بنِ الحُسَينِ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to `Ali, the son of al-Husayn, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدِ بنِ عَليٍّ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to Muhammad, the son of `Ali, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى جَعفَرٍ بنِ مُحَمَّدٍ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to Ja`far, the son of Muhammad, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى موسى بنِ جَعفَرٍ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to Musa, the son of Ja`far, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى عَليّ بنِ موسى إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to `Ali, the son of Musa, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدِ بنِ عليٍّ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to Muhammad, the son of `Ali, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى عَليّ بنِ مُحَمَّدٍ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to `Ali, son of Muhammad, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى الحَسَنِ بنِ عَليٍّ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to al-Hasan, the son of `Ali, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ،
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
وَصَلِّ عَلى الخَلَفِ الهادي المهديِّ إمامِ المُؤمِنينَ،
And send blessings to the Successor, the guide and well-guided, the leader of the faithful believers,
وَوارِثِ المُرسَلينَ،
the inheritor of the Messengers,
وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ.
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأهلِ بَيتِهِ الأئِمَّةِ الهادينَ،
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household, the guiding Imams,
العُلَماءِ الصَّادِقينَ الأبرارِ المُتَّقينَ،
the knowledgeable, the veracious, the righteous, the pious,
دَعائِمِ دينِكَ،
the supports of Your religion,
وَأركانِ تَوحيدِكَ،
the pillars of the belief in Your Oneness,
وَتراجِمَةِ وَحيِكَ ،
the interpreters of Your Revelation,
وَحُجَجِكَ عَلى خَلقِكَ،
Your arguments on Your creatures,
وَخُلَفائِكَ في أرضِكَ،
and Your representatives in Your lands,
الَّذينَ اختَرتَهُم لِنَفسِكَ وَاصطَفَيتَهُم عَلى عِبادِكَ وَارتَضَيتَهُم لِدينِكَ وَخَصَصتَهُم بِمَعرِفَتِكَ وَجَلَّلتَهُم بِكَرامَتِكَ وَغَشَّيتَهُم بِرَحمَتِكَ وَرَبَّيتَهُم بِنِعمَتِكَ،
whom You have chosen for Yourself, You have preferred over Your servants, You have accepted (as directors) of Your religion, You have given Your knowledge exclusively, shaded with Your honoring, covered with Your mercy, raised with Your boon,
وَغَذَّيتَهُم بِحِكمَتِكَ،
fed on Your wisdom,
وَألبَستَهُم نورَكَ،
dressed Your Light,
وَرَفَعتَهُم في مَلَكوتِكَ،
lifted up to Your Sovereignty,
وَحَفَفتَهُم بِملائِكَتِكَ،
encompassed with Your angels,
وَشَرَّفتَهُم بِنَبيِّكَ،
and honored with Your Prophet,
صَلَواتُكَ عَلَيهِ وَآلِهِ.
peace of You be upon him and his Household.
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَيهِم صَلاةً زاكيَةً ناميَةً كَثيرَةً دائِمَةً طَيِّبَةً،
O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad and upon them with blessings that are so pure, ever-growing, opulent, permanent, and good
لا يُحيطُ بِها إلاّ أنتَ وَلا يَسَعُها إلاّ عِلمُكَ،
that none can comprehend save You, none can embrace save Your knowledge,
وَلا يُحصيها أحَدٌ غَيرُكَ.
and none can count save You.
اللهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلى وَليِّكَ المُحيي سُنَّتَكَ،
O Allah, and also send blessings to Your Friend who will restore Your way,
القائِمِ بِأمرِكَ،
rise [to undertake the mission] by Your command,
الدَّاعي إلَيكَ،
call unto You,
الدَّليلِ عَلَيكَ،
and guide to You.
حُجَّتِكَ عَلى خَلقِكَ وَخَليفَتِكَ في أرضِكَ،
[He is] Your argument against Your creatures, Your representative in Your lands,
وَشاهِدِكَ عَلى عِبادِكَ.
and Your witness on Your servants.
اللهُمَّ أعِزَّ نَصرَهُ وَمُدَّ في عُمرِهِ،
O Allah, (please) confer upon him with a mighty help, extend his lifetime,
وَزَيِّنِ الأرضَ بِطولِ بَقائِهِ.
and adorn the earth with his long-lasting survival.
اللهُمَّ اكفِهِ بَغيَ الحاسِدينَ،
O Allah, (please) save him from the oppression of the enviers,
وَأعِذهُ مِن شَرِّ الكائِدينَ،
protect him against the evils of the plotters,
وَازجُر عَنهُ إرادَةَ الظّالِمينَ وَخَلِّصهُ مِن أيدي الجَبّارينَ.
deter the unjust from employing their wills against him, and redeem him from the hands (i.e. powers) of the tyrants.
اللهُمَّ أعطِهِ في نَفسِهِ وَذُرّيَّتِهِ وَشيعَتِهِ،
وَرَعيَّتِهِ وَخاصَّتِهِ وَعامَّتِهِ،
وَعَدوِّهِ وَجَميعَ أهلِ الدُّنيا ما تُقِرُّ بِهِ عَينَهُ،
[even] his enemies, and all the inhabitants of this world— [give him] that which delights his eye
وَتَسُرُّ بِهِ نَفسَهُ،
and entertains his self;
وَبَلِّغهُ أفضَلَ ما أمَّلَهُ في الدُّنيا وَالآخرةِ،
and make him attain the best of that which he desires in this world and the Next Word.
إنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شيءٍ قَديرٌ.
Verily, You have power over all things.
اللهُمَّ جَدِّد بِهِ ما امتُحي مِن دينِكَ وَأحيِ بِهِ ما بُدِّلَ مِن كِتابِكَ،
وَأظهِر بِهِ ما غُيِّرَ مِن حُكمِكَ حَتَّى يَعودَ دينُكَ بِهِ وَعَلى يَدَيهِ غَضّاً جَديداً خالِصاً مُخلَصاً،
and manifest, through him, the laws of Your code that have been distorted so that Your religion, through him and at his hands, will again become fresh, new, pure, sound,
لا شَكَّ فيهِ وَلا شُبهَةَ مَعَهُ،
free from any doubt or any spurious matter,
وَلا باطِلَ عِندَهُ،
وَلا بِدعَةَ لَدَيهِ.
اللهُمَّ نَوِّر بِنورِهِ كُلَّ ظُلمَةٍ،
O Allah, through his light, light up all darkness,
وَهُدَّ بِرُكنِهِ كُلَّ بِدعَةٍ وَاهدِم بِعِزِّهِ كُلَّ ضَلالَةٍ،
through his power, demolish all heresies, through his might, destroy all items of deviation,
وَاقصِم بِهِ كُلَّ جَبَّارٍ،
through him, annihilate all tyrants,
وَأخمِد بِسَيفِهِ كُلَّ نارٍ،
though his sword, extinguish all fires [of sedition],
وَأهلِك بِعَدلِهِ جَورَ كُلِّ جائِرٍ،
through his justice, terminate the prejudice of all unjust ones,
وَأجرِ حُكمَهُ عَلى كُلِّ حُكمٍ،
make his rule prevail on all systems of rule,
وَأذِلَّ بِسُلطانِهِ كُلَّ سُلطانٍ.
and through his authority, humiliate all other authorities.
اللهُمَّ أذِلَّ كُلَّ مَن ناواهُ،
O Allah, (please) put down all those who antagonize him,
وأهلِك كُلَّ مَن عاداهُ وَامكُر بِمَن كادَهُ،
wipe out all those who incur the hostility of him, exterminate the plots of all those who conspire against him,
وَاستَأصِل مَن جَحَدَهُ حَقَّهُ،
and obliterate all those who deny his right,
وَاستَهانَ بِأمرِهِ،
belittle his mission,
وَسَعى في إطفاءِ نورِهِ،
work on extinguishing his light,
وَأرادَ إخمادَ ذِكرِهِ.
and intend to turn off his reputation.
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ المُصطَفى وَعَليٍّ المُرتَضى،
O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad, the Chosen Prophet, `Ali, the Well-pleased,
وَفاطِمَةَ الزَّهراءِ،
Fatimah, the Luminous,
وَالحَسَنِ الرِّضا،
al-Hasan, the amicable,
وَالحُسَينِ المُصَفَّى،
al-Husayn, the purified,
وَجَميعِ الأوصياء مَصابيحِ الدُّجى،
and all the Successors, the lanterns of darkness,
وَأعلامِ الهُدى،
the signs of true guidance,
وَمَنارِ التُّقى،
the lamps of piety,
وَالعُروَةِ الوُثقى،
the firmest handle,
وَالحَبلِ المَتينِ والصِّراطِ المُستَقيمِ،
the resolved rope [between Allah and His creatures], and the straight path.
وَصَلِّ عَلى وَليِّكَ وَوُلاةِ عَهدِكَ،
And (please) send blessings to Your Friend and the trustees of Your affairs
وَالأئِمَّةِ مِن وُلدِهِ،
and the Imams from his descendants,
وَمُدَّ في أعمارِهِم،
extend their lifetimes,
وَزِد في آجالِهِم،
increase their periods of life,
وَبَلِّغهُم أقصى آمالِهِم ديناً وَدُنيا وَآخِرَةً،
and make them attain the utmost of their expectations in the religion, the world, and the Hereafter.
إنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شيءٍ قَديرٌ.
Verily, You have power over all things.
