Al Nour Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-09-25 · Version 3

1. About these terms

These terms describe the rules for using Al Nour's website at alnour.io and www.alnour.io, iOS and iPadOS applications, Android phone and tablet applications, connected TV and display features, and related account and support services. “Al Nour”, “we”, and “us” refer to the service operator. Not every feature is available on every platform.

Please read these terms before using the service. Where agreement is required, we will provide an appropriate opportunity to review and accept them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using the relevant service. Contact us with questions at hello@alnour.io.

2. Accounts and access

Public reading and listening features can be used without an account. Features such as synchronized favorites and saved personal content may require sign-in.

Use an email address you control and keep your account information accurate. Protect your password and verification codes; do not share them with others or send them to support. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your own use of the account, but not automatically liable for activity outside your reasonable control.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or have appropriate parent or guardian permission where the law allows it. A store age rating does not replace any consent required by law.

3. Using Al Nour

You may use the features we make available for lawful reading, listening, study, and personal or community display, subject to the rights associated with the particular content. A display or sharing feature does not itself grant public-performance, broadcast, commercial, or redistribution rights to third-party recordings or materials.

Do not:

These restrictions do not remove rights provided by law, including applicable copyright exceptions, accessibility rights, or lawful security research. Report suspected vulnerabilities privately to hello@alnour.io without exposing other people's data.

4. Texts, recordings, and other materials

Rights in the application software, design, branding, recordings, translations, photographs, and other materials remain with their respective owners. Availability in Al Nour does not mean that all material is owned by Al Nour or free to reuse. We do not claim exclusive rights over underlying public-domain religious texts.

Respect attribution and any license or usage notice accompanying a work. Contact us if you believe material infringes your rights, identifying the work, the location of the material, your relationship to the rights holder, and a way to reach you. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

We aim to provide accurate texts, translations, source information, and playback synchronization, but errors can occur. Report corrections through available controls or hello@alnour.io. Content supports reading, learning, and reflection; it is not individualized medical, legal, or professional religious advice. Consult an appropriately qualified person when you need such advice.

5. Information and content you provide

You retain your rights in photographs, dedication messages, and other content you submit. You give Al Nour and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, format, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to provide the features you request, maintain security, and comply with law. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission to use private uploads in advertising.

Only submit content you are entitled to use and share. Obtain any necessary permissions from people whose images or private information you include. Public or shared displays may be visible to others; choose carefully what you send to them.

When you delete content, our use ends except for processing reasonably needed to complete deletion, operate limited backups, resolve a dispute, or meet legal obligations, as explained in the Privacy Policy. We cannot retrieve copies independently saved by people with whom you shared or displayed material.

If you contribute material for publication, a separate contributor or recording agreement may be necessary. These general terms do not replace or expand that agreement.

6. Privacy and account deletion

The Al Nour Privacy Policy explains what information we process, the providers we use, available choices, and retention and deletion. These terms do not substitute for consent where consent is legally required.

You may stop using the service at any time. In supported app versions, account deletion is available through Profile → Manage account → Delete account. You may also email hello@alnour.io from your registered address with the subject Al Nour account deletion. We may verify ownership. Uninstalling the app does not itself delete the cloud account.

7. Third-party services and app stores

Embedded videos, external websites, app stores, and other third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Network and data charges from your provider may apply. We do not control the availability or conduct of independent third parties.

The relevant app-store terms and any applicable application license also apply to your installation. These terms do not replace Apple's applicable standard or custom end-user license agreement, or grant rights that an app store or third-party rights holder has not granted.

8. Availability and changes

We work to maintain the service but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every feature or recording will always remain available. Maintenance, technical failures, security needs, or licensing changes may affect availability.

We may improve or change features. Where a change materially reduces an account service you rely on, we will provide reasonable notice when practical, unless urgent security or legal circumstances prevent it. We will not use a general update notice to impose a new payment obligation; any future paid offering would need clear pricing and applicable purchase terms before you choose it.

9. Suspension and ending access

We may restrict an account or remove submitted material when reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these terms, protect users or the service, respect rights, or comply with law. Restrictions should be proportionate to the issue. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond or correct the problem. Immediate action may be necessary for serious abuse or security risks.

If you believe a restriction is mistaken, contact hello@alnour.io. Ending access does not remove your applicable privacy, deletion, or consumer rights.

10. Responsibility and your legal rights

We will use reasonable care in providing the service. We do not promise that all content is error-free, that every device will support every feature, or that using Al Nour will produce a particular personal or spiritual outcome.

Our responsibility for loss is determined by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or any other responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude. Mandatory consumer rights and remedies remain available. These terms do not require you to waive those rights or accept compulsory arbitration.

11. Updates, questions, and disputes

We may update these terms for changes to the service or legal requirements. The published page will show its effective date. Material changes will receive appropriate notice, and renewed agreement will be requested where required. Changes will not apply retroactively to a dispute that has already arisen.

Please contact Al Nour at hello@alnour.io first if you have a complaint so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from contacting a regulator or exercising rights before a competent court. These terms do not select an exclusive foreign court or take away protections that apply where you live.
